GETTING TO KNOW US
We are Fatima and Marina, certified translators and conference interpreters. In 2011 we met while working as translators for a mining company and, two years later, we decided to start our language consultancy firm. We invested all our savings in simultaneous interpreting equipment, and we were determined to make our dream come true. This is how B&S Language was born. We are a company founded and led by women that is growing steadily responding to the increasing demand for interpreting and translation services not only in the local market, but also in other provinces and countries. We always work in pursuit of clear, precise, and agile communication to meet our customers’ needs. All our work processes are carried out in the most sustainable way possible.
Our specialty is the mining industry, as we have been working mostly for this sector since 2011. Briefly, our experience in the sector can be summarized as: interpretation and translation work for the superintendencies of operations, environment, health and safety, engineering and maintenance of Pascua Lama, Casposo and Gualcamayo projects. From 2010-2014 we were in charge of recruiting, selecting and coordinating 14 translators for Pascua Lama, Gualcamayo and Casposo projects, located in the province of San Juan, Argentina.
Since 2013 and to date, we have provided translation and interpretation services to Veladero, both for Barrick Gold and Shandong Gold, Josemaria Resources, Yamana Gold, Liebherr Argentina, Galaxy Lithium, Goldcorp, Sandvik, Mineros S.A., and other service companies of the mining sector.
In the agricultural sector, we also specialize in viticulture. Finca Sierras Azules Winery, Merced del Estero Winery, Callia Winery are some of our customers. In the olive industry, we have worked for DIRCOMEX (Foreign Trade Office) of the Government of San Juan and INTA. In the tomato sector, we also provided various services to leading companies and Government offices such as La Campagnola, Arcor, Fundación Tomate 2000, INTA, Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Agroindustry.
In recent years, we have gained considerable experience in the textile (Grupo Chargeurs, Vicunha Textil, Lacoste), food (UNILEVER), oil and gas (IAPG) and entertainment (Direct TV, AT&T) industries, as well as in the field of medicine, solar energy (EPSE, Grupo Schmid, MPC Consultora) and sports (San Juan Secretariat of State for Sports) since we have been working with different leaders in these sectors on a constant basis.
